Job summary

Mercure Amsterdam City is seeking a Night Receptionist for 3 days per week to welcome guests during the night, handle check-ins/outs, and assist with special requests. You will be the first and last point of contact, delivering warm, personal service and promoting the ALL loyalty program.

You will work with a colleague for support and teamwork, covering 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM in a dynamic hotel environment, with a focus on guest satisfaction and seamless operations in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• You have excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
• You are fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
• Previous experience at a hotel front desk.
• Familiarity with Opera Cloud is a bonus. Not required, but would be appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-in and check-out during night shifts (11:00 PM–7:00 AM).
• Provide warm, professional, and personal service and resolve issues to ensure a smooth stay.
• Promote the ALL - Accor Live Limitless loyalty program and offer insider tips about Amsterdam.

Are you a night owl with a passion for hospitality? At Mercure Amsterdam City, we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Night Receptionist for 3 days per week to ensure our guests enjoy a seamless and memorable stay, from the moment they arrive until they check out.

As the face of the hotel during the night, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests. You provide warm, professional, and personal service, whether you are checking guests in or out, offering insider tips about Amsterdam, or assisting with special requests. You will also play a key role in informing guests about our ALL Accor Live Limitless loyalty program, and have the skills to turn any issue into a positive experience.

Role

In this role you have a proactive attitude and you are always looking for ways to improve our services. You are available for 3 days per week, very flexible and you are willing to work in a dynamic environment during the night from 11.00 pm to 7.00 am. Besides you have:

• You have excellent communication skills, both spoken and written;
• You are fluent in English, and if you also speak Dutch, that’s a big plus!;
• Previous experience at a hotel front desk;
• Familiarity with Opera Cloud is a bonus. Not required, but it would definitely put a smile on our faces!
