Job summary

Landal is seeking a Network Lead to design and implement robust, multi-location network infrastructure across hospitality sites. You will oversee installation of routers, switches, firewalls, and access points, while leading incident resolution to minimize downtime.

Partner with security teams and vendors to ensure reliable, secure connectivity and scalable growth. The role requires 8–12 years of network experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and industry certifications.

Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, CompTIA Network+, or CISSP.

Job description

About the role: The Network Leads objective: Responsible for overseeing network design, implementation, management, and incident management to support seamless operations across systems and locations. What will you do:

  • Design and plan the network infrastructure to meet the needs of the organization, including Wi-Fi, internal communication systems, and connectivity for the various departments.
  • Oversee and manage the installation and configuration of network hardware, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points, ensure optimal performance and coverage.
  • Lead resolution of network connectivity and performance issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Engage with the security team to implement and maintain a robust network security measures.
  • Optimize network performance by analysing traffic patterns and making necessary adjustments to improve speed, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Plan and lead implementation of network upgrades to accommodate growth, such as adding new locations, increasing bandwidth, and integrating new technologies.
  • Manage relationships with outsourcing partners & vendors in the Networks domain. Evaluate and select third party vendors and oversee the procurement of network equipment and services.
This is you:
  • 8-12 years of experience in network engineering, network support, or related roles, with a proven track record of managing network infrastructure in a complex multi-location environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, engineering or related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, CompTIA Network+, or - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Deep understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software (network management tools, security solutions).
  • Knowledge of network security practices, threat management, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Experience analysing network performance metrics and taking decisions to enhance network reliability.
  • Experience managing outsourcing partners / third party vendors, network-related projects, including planning, execution, and post-implementation review.
  • Industry experience in Hospitality (highly preferred)
