Hef Associates is seeking an ERP Application Specialist in Amsterdam to manage and continually improve the NetSuite platform across Finance, Asset Management, and commercial teams.

You will drive adoption, optimize processes, and translate business requirements into practical NetSuite solutions while collaborating with internal users and external partners.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as an ERP administrator, application administrator, or in a similar role.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on NetSuite experience.
• Experience with user management, system configuration, application support, and release management.
• Familiarity with IT service management and change management processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary NetSuite contact for users across the organization.
• Provide functional support and resolve application-related issues.
• Manage users, roles, permissions, and system configurations.
• Configure and maintain workflows, dashboards, forms, and integrations.
• Coordinate testing and validation of system changes and releases.

Our client is a fast-growing company focused on sustainable energy solutions, with projects ranging from solar systems to BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) and EV solutions. Their technology and innovation are helping to redefine the renewable energy landscape across Europe.

The role

As an ERP Application Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, support, and continuous improvement of the company's NetSuite platform. You will ensure that the system remains reliable, user-friendly, and aligned with the business needs of the Finance, Asset Management, and commercial teams.

Serving as the bridge between users, business stakeholders, and external partners, you will drive adoption, optimize processes, and help maximize the value of the platform.

An overview of your responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for NetSuite users throughout the organization
• Provide functional support and resolve application-related issues
• Manage users, roles, permissions, and system configurations
• Configure and maintain workflows, dashboards, forms, and integrations
• Coordinate the testing and validation of system changes and releases
• Monitor platform performance, releases, and new features
• Support data quality initiatives and master data management
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and user adoption

What you bring to the table:

• 3–5 years of experience as an ERP administrator, application administrator, or in a similar role
• At least 2 years of hands‑on NetSuite experience
• Experience with user management, system configuration, application support, and release management
• A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently
• Understanding of ERP processes within finance and operational environments
• Experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, or NetSuite integrations
• Knowledge of finance and asset management processes in the energy sector is a plus
• Experience working in a multi‑country environment is a plus
• Familiarity with IT service management and change management processes is a plus
