Job summary

Oyster in the Netherlands is expanding our in-house payroll function, giving you ownership over the Dutch payroll stream and adherence to AFAS processes. You will handle master data, statutory filings, and monthly/monthly cycles with accuracy, collaborating across a global async team.

You’ll grow expertise in Loonheffingenrecht and CAO, while contributing to regulatory reports and audits in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years running native Netherlands payroll in-house.
• Hands-on AFAS and/or Nmbrs/Loket.nl processing experience.
• PDL and/or RSa registration or equivalent.
• Dutch wage tax, social insurance, and labor law knowledge.
• Fluent Dutch and English for collaboration with a global team.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately for the Dutch payroll cycle each period.
• Maintain master data: hires, terminations, salary changes, benefits, absences.
• Run payroll validations and flag issues before closure.
• Handle statutory filings and government accesses per procedures.
• Follow SOPs and support product and team with knowledge sharing.
• Prepare statutory/ad-hoc reports and assist audits.
