Job summary

CHINT Solar is seeking a Country Manager for the Netherlands, based in Amsterdam, to lead business development, project acquisition, and strategic partnerships across solar, wind, and energy storage.

You will build and maintain relationships with landowners, developers, municipalities, grid operators and investors, while guiding negotiations and due diligence. Fluency in Dutch and English, plus 5+ years in energy, are required.

Qualifications

• You have a business degree (bachelor’s or master’s) or similar.
• You have at least 5 years of industry experience.
• You are entrepreneurial, accurate, and highly organized.
• You work well independently and as part of a team.
• You communicate excellently in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Grow the Netherlands development pipeline through origination and partnerships.
• Lead renewable and storage projects from origination through permitting.
• Pursue services opportunities like repowering and battery integration.
• Evaluate and execute M&A, co-development and strategic investments.
• Build relationships with landowners, municipalities, grid operators and investors.
• Lead negotiations, due diligence and transaction activities.
• Monitor market/regulatory changes and translate into opportunities.
• Represent CHINT Solar in the Dutch energy market and advance country strategy.
