Job summary

Forexx Group seeks an Engineer Marine Piping Systems to design and engineer advanced piping systems for high-end naval vessels. You will analyse specifications, develop and model engineering packages, and ensure piping systems meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards, supporting complex maritime projects.

The role requires a technical degree with at least three years in piping, strong CAD skills, and English proficiency. EU citizenship is required due to the nature of military projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least three years of piping systems experience.
• Experience in shipbuilding or offshore installations is preferred.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD to model and design complex piping systems.
• Strong command of English, written and spoken.
• Excellent references; pre-employment security screening is standard.
• Permanent EU citizenship and passport are required; EU work visa or non-EU nationality not eligible.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and assess specifications for piping systems against project needs and standards.
• Develop and model basic engineering packages for piping systems in a 3D environment.
• Produce detailed engineering packages and production information from the basic design.
• Provide technical advice and support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines to optimize piping solutions for the project.
• Participate in project design reviews; identify issues and propose improvements.
• Contribute to compliance, knowledge retention, and continuous improvement within the department.
