Job summary

Enersea, a Netherlands-based offshore engineering firm, seeks a (Junior) Piping Engineer to design piping systems for offshore platforms from concept to detailed design. You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical piping solutions and grow your technical expertise. The role offers Plant 3D/AutoCAD/Navisworks exposure and a path to increasing responsibility within Enersea’s engineering group in Schiedam, with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0–5 years of piping engineering or design experience offshore/process/energy.
• Knowledge of piping design principles, materials and design standards.
• Experience with Plant 3D, AutoCAD and Navisworks is advantageous; pipe-stress experience is a plus.
• Strong English communication; Dutch language skills or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Review PFDs and process information for piping design.
• Contribute to platform layouts and piping routes with other disciplines.
• Create and maintain 3D piping models using Plant 3D, Cloudscans and Navisworks.
• Prepare engineering deliverables: drawings, isometrics, MTOs, reports and piping lists.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of specifications and engineering libraries.
• Ensure all deliverables meet project requirements and Enersea's quality procedures.
