Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a MySQL engineer, specialist or architect to support enterprise MySQL environments across on-premises, hosted and cloud platforms. The role ensures database availability, performance, security and recoverability.

The team works to monitor, maintain and optimize MySQL databases, implementing replication, high availability, backups and security controls for resilient data services. This position may involve migration support and automation development.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise MySQL environments.

• Strong skills in backups, restores and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Develop scripts and automation for operational database management.
• Participate in resilience and disaster-recovery testing.
• At senior levels, lead complex performance, corruption and recovery investigations.
• At L5, define architecture patterns, standards and lifecycle roadmaps.
