Are you ready to become the vital link between business needs and technical solutions? We are seeking a dynamic Business Central/Navision Engineer to join our client, a company in the trading domain! In this role, you'll collaborate with Business Analysts to design and implement tailor-made NAV 2018/Business Central customizations that drive efficiency and innovation. Your expertise will be pivotal in translating business processes into effective system configurations while ensuring seamless integration with third-party applications.

You'll provide Level 2/Level 3 support, troubleshoot complex issues, and empower users with training sessions that enhance system utilization. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analysts to design and deploy NAV/Business Central customizations (integrations, workflows, business logic).
• Gather business requirements and configure NAV to align with business processes.
• Implement NAV modules tailored to industry-specific needs.
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems using web services, APIs, or Power Automate.
• Provide Level 2/Level 3 support, troubleshooting functional and technical issues.
• Resolve complex issues and escalate unresolved problems as needed.
• Monitor system performance and conduct maintenance tasks (e.g., hotfixes, backups).
• Assist end-users and conduct training sessions for optimal system use.
• Serve as a liaison between business and IT, ensuring requirements are met with effective technical solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest Dynamics NAV and Business Central features to leverage new capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 or Business Central development, troubleshooting and implementation.
• Support and troubleshooting experience for Dynamics NAV/Business Central users.
• Hands-on experience with C/AL, AL, SQL, web services, and integrations.
• Background in business process analysis and system configuration (Finance, Sales, Purchase).
• User training and post-implementation support experience is a big plus.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical teams and business users.
• Familiarity with Power Automate, Logic Apps, Azure DevOps, version control, Agile methodologies, and Jira.
• Certifications: Microsoft Dynamics certifications (e.g., Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV 2018) are a plus.

A great full-time role in Amsterdam, hybrid work is possible (with 3 days of working from the office). The salary for this position will range between 60.000-70.000 EUR gross per year, depending on your education and seniority.
