Job summary

Dynamic People, based in the Netherlands, seeks a Business Central Finance consultant to translate complex finance processes into Dynamics 365 BC configurations and real-time insights. You will tailor the solution to each client’s needs, enabling faster, data-driven decisions.

You will lead workshops, manage risks in supply chain finance, configure processes, and support migration projects while helping clients achieve long-term value from technology and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations or as a key-user.
• Strong finance process knowledge and ability to translate client needs into practical designs.
• Excellent client engagement and collaboration skills; willingness to learn Dutch.

As a Business Central Consultant, you translate complex Finance processes into clear structures and efficient workflows, enabling clients to make faster and more strategic decisions based on real-time data. Together with your team, you will work on solutions that simplify and optimize processes around logistics, distribution, procurement, production, finance and commodity trading.

Your role as a Business Central Finance consultant

In this role, you will be the key person responsible for implementing the Finance modules within Business Central and tailoring the solution to the specific needs of your clients.

You will help clients streamline their processes in their finance operation and improve insights into their data, help employees to collaborate more effectively and support strategic decision-making based on real time data.

By implementing innovative solutions, you ensure clients derive long-term value from technology, keeping them competitive and successful.

Overview

• Lead the Finance related workshops and translate client needs into the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solution.
• Proactively manage risks, identifying challenges within their supply chain processes and providing optimizations and solutions to support the client’s strategic goals.
• Configure the Finance modules and test the processes to ensure they meet client needs and standards.
• Guide migration projects, ensuring a smooth and careful transition while contributing to the client's long-term strategy.

This is you

• You have minimum 3 years of experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations or as a key-user, and a solid business knowledge of finance processes and operations.
• You know how to translate client needs into practical designs and solutions that align with their strategy and day-to-day operations, contributing to efficiency, insight, and growth.
• You work closely with clients, ensuring engagement and buy-in at every stage of the project.
• You are curious, solution-oriented, and enjoy being constructively critical if it helps achieve a better outcome.
• You are a team player who enjoys sharing knowledge, supporting team members and building quality together.
• Since many of our clients and team activities are in Dutch, you are willing to learn Dutch if you are not yet fluent, to collaborate effectively with your colleagues and clients.
