Job summary

SIRE LIFE SCIENCES is seeking an MRP Lead to guide a team of three Material Planners responsible for ensuring timely raw material and packaging availability for production sites in Meppel and Lippstadt. The role blends people leadership with tactical supply planning, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Based in Amersfoort with a hybrid setup, you will partner with procurement, production, and logistics to optimize inventory, balance cost and service, and develop contingency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in Supply Planning, Material Planning, ERP Planning, or a similar supply chain role.
• Previous leadership or team coordination experience preferred (1+ year).
• Strong SAP proficiency.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; German a plus.
• Willingness to travel to Meppel weekly and to Lippstadt occasionally.
• Hybrid work arrangement based in Amersfoort.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of three Material Planners.
• Oversee end-to-end planning and ordering of raw materials and packaging.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize service vs. working capital.
• Forecast material requirements based on supply and production plans.
• Collaborate with procurement and suppliers on long-term planning.
• Drive supplier performance and continuous improvements.
