Job summary

ALTEN is seeking experienced Simulation Engineers skilled in Modelica and Dymola to contribute to the development, validation and optimisation of simulation models for complex onboard systems. You will work within multidisciplinary engineering teams using system-level modelling to support design decisions and performance analysis.

You will develop and maintain models in Dymola/Modelica, simulate complex physical systems and validate results against data and requirements.

Qualifications

• MSc or BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with Modelica and Dymola.
• Experience in physical system modelling and simulation.
• Strong understanding of system dynamics and control engineering.
• Experience with multidisciplinary engineering environments.
• Ability to independently develop, validate and troubleshoot simulation models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

You will contribute to the development, validation and optimisation of simulation models for complex onboard equipment and systems. Working as part of multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will use system-level modelling and simulation to support design decisions, performance analysis and system verification activities.
