Software Engineer (Python/C#) – Data & Monitoring Focus

As part of our growing business, we are looking for a Software Engineer (Python/C#) – Data & Monitoring Focus to join our team and contribute to ongoing projects in Rotterdam.

Your main tasks will include:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Python and C#.
• Build and support data pipelines, integration tools, and analytics platforms.
• Develop scripts and services for data processing, transformation, and automation.
• Use NumPy, Pandas, and similar libraries to analyze and manipulate datasets.
• Create visual dashboards and monitoring tools using Grafana and other visualization platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, data engineering, and product.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot and debug software and data-related issues in production and development environments.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software and data development.

Your Profile

• Completed bachelor’s degree or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in software development using Python and C#.
• Strong knowledge of data libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, etc.
• Experience working with Grafana or similar data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and data integration.
• Solid understanding of both object-oriented and functional programming paradigms.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Preferably experience in DevOps, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), or CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to data streaming technologies or time-series databases (e.g., Prometheus, InfluxDB).
• Preferably experience in monitoring and alerting systems.
