Job Overview

W Amsterdam is casting a Bartender for the B&F Team, responsible for the W Lounge, In‑Room Dining, and Banqueting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an all‑round B&F expert, ensuring guests are wowed throughout the stay.
• Report directly to the Head Bartender.
• Manage daily operations at the W Lounge.
• Maintain expertise on cocktails, including creating new drinks and mastering classic cocktails.
• Welcome guests, suggest cocktails and food pairings, and personalize the Whatever/Whenever service.
• Follow service standards and operating procedures for each order and interaction.
• Keep the lounge clean and sparkling.
• Work rotating shifts, including weekends and evenings, and prepare for shifts through mise en place.
• Adapt to a fast‑paced, loud music environment with high traffic.
• Assist other B&F departments (In‑Room Dining, Banqueting) as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team and other departments.
• Proactively create unforgettable experiences for guests.

Requirements

• Minimum of one‑year experience in the same or similar role.
• Fluency in English.
• Dutch and any other language appreciated.
• Experience in the Luxury Segment is an advantage.
• Work Permit for The Netherlands is required.
