Job summary

Corendon Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Mixologist (Bartender) at W Amsterdam to elevate guest moments with cocktails and food pairings. You report to the Head Bartender and ensure exceptional service in one of Amsterdam’s iconic cocktail spaces.

Responsibilities include guiding guests through suggestions, maintaining knowledge of the menu, and delivering the Whatever/Whenever experience with a high-energy team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience in the same or similar role.
• Fluency in English.
• Dutch and any other language is appreciated.
• Experience in the Luxury Segment is an advantage.
• Work Permit for The Netherlands is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails at the W Lounge and maintain bar inventory.
• Guide guests through cocktail suggestions and food pairings.
• Follow service standards and provide personalized service.
• Work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and nights.
• Collaborate with other F&B venues to ensure a seamless guest journey.

What does the job include?

As a Mixologist (Bartender), you are an all‑round B&F expert who elevates every guest moment in the W Lounge. You report directly to the Head Bartender and support the daily operations of one of Amsterdam’s most iconic cocktail spaces. You work as part of a larger team dedicated to making guest dreams come true and you stay fully in the know about our cocktail menu, classic cocktails and new creations you can whip up on the spot.

You welcome guests with confidence, guide them through cocktail suggestions they didn’t even know they loved and offer food pairings that elevate their experience. You follow service standards from the beginning to the end of each interaction and bring the Whatever/Whenever® philosophy to life through personalized service.

You ensure the bar sparkles at all times, prepare thoroughly for each shift and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment with loud music and constant movement. You work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and nights. You collaborate with other B&F venues such as In Room Dining and Banqueting, communicate clearly with your team and support a seamless guest journey across the hotel. You always put the guest at the center of everything you do, and any task that creates a WOW moment becomes part of your role.
