A leading Dutch retail organization is seeking an experienced EUC DevOps Engineer to drive their Modern Workspace transformation in Zaandam. This hybrid role requires 10+ years of expertise in End User Computing and a strong command of Microsoft Intune and MECM. The candidate will lead innovative solutions, manage devices, and optimize application delivery. Qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EUC DevOps Engineer to join a leading Dutch retail organization at a pivotal moment in its Modern Workspace transformation journey. This role sits within the End User Computing (EUC) team and plays a critical part in driving innovation, automation, and operational excellence across workplace services.

You will be a hands‑on technical expert, combining deep EUC knowledge with DevOps principles to modernize and streamline device management, application delivery, and user experience across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and management of Intune-based Modern Workspace solutions for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
• Support and execute the transition from legacy managed workspaces to cloud-managed workspaces planned for 2025.
• Manage and optimize Microsoft Intune and MECM for endpoint delivery and lifecycle management.
• Support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments for secure and scalable remote access.

DevOps & Automation

• Apply DevOps principles to EUC by implementing CI/CD pipelines, automation, and continuous improvement practices.
• Develop and maintain automation using PowerShell and shell scripting.
• Package, test, and deploy applications efficiently across enterprise environments.
• Build and maintain real‑time performance dashboards to monitor EUC health and user experience.

Operations & Collaboration

• Provide expert support during high‑priority incidents and complex escalations.
• Work closely with EUC, Cloud, and DevOps teams within Agile sprints.
• Proactively identify risks, improvement opportunities, and technical dependencies.
• Coordinate with Microsoft for advanced technical support and issue resolution.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in End User Computing / Modern Workplace engineering
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Intune and MECM
• Experience managing Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android in enterprise environments
• Proven knowledge of application packaging and deployment best practices
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, GitLab)
• Solid understanding of Azure cloud platforms
• Knowledge of security, networking, and endpoint compliance
• Fluent Dutch communication skills (spoken and written)

• Hybrid working: 50% remote / 50% onsite at the headquarters in Zaandam
