Fluor is seeking a Marshalling Harbour Site Engineer to support site management and logistics on a major offshore wind project in the Netherlands. You will coordinate harbour operations, monitor activities, manage contractor interfaces, and ensure clear communication between site teams and project stakeholders.

The role operates on a 24/7 shift rota with a focus on safety (HSEQ), quality, and timely execution of load-ins/outs and vessel movements.

Formación

• 3+ years in offshore wind, port operations, or logistics.
• Experience coordinating large components and heavy lifts.
• Fluent English; Dutch and/or German is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor site operations and ensure activities are carried out in line with approved procedures.
• Maintain daily operational records, progress reports, and time tracking.
• Coordinate load-ins, load-outs, vessel movements, transportation, and storage activities.
• Liaise with contractors, site teams, and stakeholders to support efficient harbour operations.
• Attend daily planning meetings, toolbox talks, and handovers.
• Promote a strong Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) culture.
• Identify and escape site risks, issues, and opportunities.
• Support inspections, quality checks, and logistics coordination for fabrication and remediation works.

Job description

We are looking for a Marshalling Harbour Site Engineer to support site management and logistics operations on a major offshore wind project. This role involves coordinating day-to-day port activities, monitoring operations, managing contractor interfaces, and ensuring smooth communication between site teams and project stakeholders. The position operates on a shift rota to support 24/7 site operations.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in offshore wind, port operations, heavy transport, logistics, or construction environments.
• Experience coordinating large components, heavy lifts, and offshore wind logistics activities.
• Strong stakeholder management and interface coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Fluent English required; Dutch and/or German is beneficial.
• GWO certifications (First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness) are desirable.
