Job summary

ING is seeking a Product Manager for Merchant Services within Wholesale Banking. You will own the Merchant Services proposition across commercial, financial, operational, and risk dimensions, focusing on driving performance and customer value across Europe.

You will define the product strategy, roadmap and lifecycle, lead marketing and client communications, and collaborate with Sales, Risk, Compliance and Legal to ensure compliant, high-impact offerings. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and at least 3 years’ payments experience in banking or payments.
• Solid knowledge of cards acquiring, e-commerce, alternative payments, and in-store POS payments.
• Experience with Commercial Cards is advantageous.
• Ability to translate client needs into commercial product strategy and roadmaps.
• Strong data-driven decision making and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Own Merchant Services product performance, P&L, and customer voice.
• Define and execute product strategy, roadmap, and life cycle.
• Lead marketing, communications, and customer satisfaction for scoped products.
• Conduct market and customer research with a pan-European perspective.
• Collaborate with Sales, Client Services, Risk, Compliance, and Legal.
• Ensure compliance and governance with regulatory policies.
• Support quarterly business reviews and delivery management.
