The Social Hub (B Corp™) in Amsterdam seeks an energetic Meetings & Events Supervisor to lead the front-of-house during service and coordinate with the crew to ensure smooth setups and service moments. You’ll mentor new joiners and help daily operations stay on point in a dynamic hospitality setting.

You’ll guide the team to deliver guest-focused service, communicate clearly under busy conditions, and support cross-team collaboration with kitchen and bar teams for seamless events.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in senior waiter, barista or bartender role.
• Experience leading a team during service.
• Clear communication and staying calm under pressure.
• Eye for detail to keep service consistent.
• Hospitable energy and guest-facing approach.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and lead by example.
• English and Dutch spoken; additional languages a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-of-house during service and set a positive, upbeat tone.
• Guide crew on the floor and solve on-the-spot issues.
• Support training and onboarding for new team members.
• Keep daily operations smooth: setups, stock, cleanliness, safety.

As our Meetings & Events Supervisor, you’ll be the go-to during meetings and events, coordinating with the crew and making sure every setup, break and service moment runs on point. You’ll work closely with the M&E Manager, help new team members find their rhythm, and keep daily operations running like a well-oiled machine.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Have

• You have 1-2 years of experience in a senior waiter, barista or bartender role
• You bring confidence leading a team during service
• You communicate clearly and stay calm when things get busy
• You have an eye for detail and keep service consistent
• You bring genuine hospitality energy and enjoy being guest-facing
• You work well with different teams and lead by example
• You speak English and Dutch, extra languages are a bonus
