Job summary

The-Social-Hub is seeking a Meetings & Events Supervisor to lead the front-of-house during service, coordinate with the crew, and ensure smooth event operations. You will help training new team members and maintain high standards in guest experience across shifts.

You’ll work closely with the M&E Manager to keep daily operations running smoothly, promote teamwork, and uphold hospitality excellence in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in a senior waiter, barista or bartender role.
• Confidence leading a team during service.
• Clear communication; stays calm during busy periods.
• Eye for detail to keep service consistent.
• Genuine hospitality energy and guest-facing demeanor.
• Ability to work well with different teams and lead by example.
• Fluency in English and Dutch; additional languages are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Guide the crew on the floor, helping solve small issues in the moment.
• Support training and onboarding for new team members.
• Keep daily operations smooth by checking setups, stock, cleanliness and safety.
• Stay present on the floor, interact with guests and jump in where needed.
• Handle transactions accurately and pass on any irregularities.
• Share targets for the shift and motivate the team to reach them.
• Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to keep service flowing.
