Reconcept Portfolio seeks a Full Stack / Back End Developer to help build and refine the platform used by 50,000+ users across 100 healthcare organizations in the Netherlands. You will work on the Ruby on Rails backend, integrate GraphQL for the frontend, and collaborate with a modern Angular web app and mobile app.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in Rails or similar, experience with Angular/React, and an Agile mindset.

The Role

The online platform Reconcept Portfolio has more than 50,000 users across over 100 healthcare organizations in the Netherlands. More than 70% of all medical specialists in the Netherlands are trained using our platform. We are currently expanding internationally.

As a Full Stack / Back End Developer, you play an important role in the development of the entire application. Security, usability, and innovation are crucial for our target audience and therefore top priorities.

The backend forms the foundation for multiple web and mobile applications and is built in Ruby on Rails. We use OAuth2 for single sign-on and GraphQL to expose the API to the frontend. The frontend consists of an Angular web application and a mobile app. Our workflows are well-structured with clear goals, yet non-bureaucratic - allowing us to move fast and get things done.

In the coming period, the focus will be on further developing the existing platform. Several challenging projects are on the roadmap, including AI integrations such as Speech-to-Text. You will collaborate closely with your frontend and backend colleagues to deliver the best solutions for our users and contribute to technical refinement.

• How can we enable AI integrations with other systems while safeguarding privacy and information security?

Who We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience in development with Ruby on Rails or another backend framework. Experience with Angular, React, or another frontend framework
• You are excited about contributing to a platform that continues to evolve
• You like to move fast and get things done, but also work well in a team
• You are used to working in an Agile environment
• You want to be challenged and challenge others
• You are available 28-40 hours per week
