Job summary

Manometric is reinventing orthopedic care with 3D scanning, software and scalable production. We seek a Senior Full Stack Developer to build the patient-facing software behind our care delivery and to scale across more countries.

You will design and implement full stack TypeScript applications using React, Node.js and PostgreSQL. The role combines frontend and backend work with a strong emphasis on automation, data-informed improvements, and collaboration with therapists and other teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of building production TypeScript applications.
• End-to-end ownership of solutions with clear business impact.
• Experience working with complex business requirements.
• Experience working directly with users of the software.
• Good sense for UX and usability without heavy designer support.
• Hands-on, pragmatic, takes ownership of what they ship.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

• Redesign the ordering process to reduce therapist friction and improve traceability of remakes.

Not long ago, a man walked into our office with a guitar under his arm. He had written a song for Manometric. For the first time in three years, he could play again. All thanks to a small, perfectly fitting hand brace.

That is what we do. At Manometric we design and produce custom orthoses using proprietary 3D scanning, smart software and scalable production.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you build the critical software behind our patient care, ensuring our effectiveness only increases as we serve more clients in more countries.

The role you play in our growth

Orthopedic care is traditionally done by individual craftspeople, leading to slow processes and inconsistent quality. Our vision is to use technology and institutional learning to deliver consistently great products, quickly. This requires strong automation and constant improvement based on data, without creating crushing administrative load for therapists.

You resolve this tension. You build the systems that let our therapists focus on the patient and easily capture the information needed for the production, reimbursement and product evaluation. Your ability to abstract administrative complexity away from the user is pivotal to our mission of reinventing orthopedic care.

You do this by designing and building full stack TypeScript applications, working on projects such as:

• Redesigning our ordering process to reduce friction for therapists and improve traceability of product remakes.

• Rebuilding how we manage appointments and automated client contact to vastly improve patient and therapist experience.

• Hardening our order-to-cash technology to handle health insurer and financial auditor requirements.

You won't face these alone. You collaborate closely with Harrie, Geraldi, Tristan, Sipke and others. As a senior, you raise the bar for the rest of the team through reviews and by introducing best practices.

You crushed the first 12 months if you drove one or more complex projects to success. Users report a great improvement in their daily work and data captured meets complex finance and R&D needs.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for a senior full stack engineer who cares as much about the people using the software as the code behind it. Someone who:

• Has 5+ years of building production TypeScript applications.

• Has had end-to-end ownership of building and maintaining solutions that made a clear business impact.

• Has successfully worked with complex business requirements.

• Has worked directly with users of their software.

• Has a good sense for UX and can make things easy to use without leaning on a designer

• Is hands-on, pragmatic and takes ownership of what they ship

• Fluent in English. Dutch is a plus.
