Job summary

Open Health Hub seeks a driven Full-stack Developer to improve care for patients and doctors. You will build a FHIR-based platform with RESTful APIs, Form Designer, Form Filler, and a FHIR Viewer, using TypeScript, Java, and modern tech stacks.

The role supports a hybrid work pattern and a strong focus on privacy and data protection. You will collaborate in an Agile environment, contribute to a secure software development lifecycle, and help deliver impactful healthcare solutions across Europe.

Qualifications

• Completed HBO or university degree in Computer Science.
• Strong team player who can work independently.
• Understanding of privacy and data protection.
• Passionate about building software that makes an impact.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methods.
• Experience with TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS.
• Experience with state management and RxJS.
• Extensive experience writing and consuming RESTful APIs with Spring Boot.
• Experience with Java 11+ (Java 17 in use).
• Kotlin experience is a plus.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a driven Full-stack Developer who wants to improve care for patients and doctors. A developer who is passionate about privacy and wants to make a difference through their work. Together with us, you will build our software that makes a difference to patients and doctors in Europe and beyond. You will develop our FHIR-based platform (FHIR APIs, Form Designer, Form Filler and FHIR Viewer). Develop your skills using the latest technologies and modern tech stacks.

Hybrid on average 2 days at our office & 3 days at home

Location Jaarbeursplein 6, Utrecht, The Netherlands

32-40 hours per week

Start date as soon as possible, negotiable

Required Skills

Who we're looking for:

A completed higher professional education (HBO) or university degree in Computer Science

You're a team player who can work independently

You understand the importance of privacy and data protection.

You're passionate about developing software that makes a real impact

You have demonstrable experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Experience with TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS

Experience with state management and RxJS

Extensive experience in writing and using RESTful API services with Spring Boot

Experience with Java 11+, we use Java 11 and Java 17

Experience with Kotlin is an advantage

Good command of spoken and written Dutch and English.

Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes is an advantage
