Job summary

Vantive is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service and maintain our organ-therapy products on-site in Wallonia, Belgium. You will build strong relationships with doctors, nurses and patients, ensuring high-quality service and on-time support.

Qualifications

• Technical bachelor’s degree in medical instruments or electro-mechanics (or equivalent).
• Experience in field service or technical support is an advantage.
• Fluent Dutch with good English is required.
• Willingness to travel within Belgium with occasional travel to the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain Vantive products in line with certifications.
• Establish and maintain communication with customers and internal teams.
• Adhere to GDP, GMP and EHS rules in all activities.
• Perform on-call duties as defined by policy.

What you'll be doing

• Install, service and maintain Vantive products in line with acquired certifications
• Establish and maintain communication and partnership with customers, team members and business contacts
• Ensure all activities are performed following the available instructions and information, within the Quality system framework
• Ensure all activities are carried out with maximum attention towards GDP, GMP and EHS rules
• Report all relevant service activity, to ensure updated and accurate service data in the ERP service systems
• Immediately escape to supervisor any complaint or issue linked to its service activities
• Identify and report any business opportunity with our customers
• Being a direct interface with our customers, mainly to handle complaints, it is essential to be able to handle stressful situations
• Team spirit and maximum flexibility is required
• Compliance with country specific requirements
• Perform phone assistance to patients or customers and participation to the on call duties program as defined in the on call policy (only exceptionally)

Specific tasks:

• Support Renal technologies for in-center therapies
• Participate to the on-call program for Renal technologies as per need (only exceptionally)

What you’ll bring

• Technical bachelor’s degree preferably in medical instruments or electro-mechanics or equivalent
• Initial experience in field service or technical support role would be an advantage
• Fluent Dutch with good English
• Customer focused and driven to deliver high quality service
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical competence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel within Belgium with occasional travel to the Netherlands as required
