Job summary

SIRE LIFE SCIENCES seeks a Mechanical Systems Engineer to manage and support critical utility systems, ensuring reliable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement. You will contribute to engineering projects involving system upgrades, design, and installation.

Responsibilities include owning HVAC, chillers, and compressed air systems, supporting troubleshooting, improving maintenance procedures, performing RCAs, and acting as system owner for Maximo CMMS.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
• Experience with utility systems (HVAC, chillers, or compressed air).
• Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems (NEN 3140) and building management systems is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call duties (approx. once or twice per month).
• Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).

• Ensure projects meet quality, budget, and timeline standards.
