Job summary

FairPlay Engineering is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Operations Technician to join an on-site Leiden team focused on reliable operation, maintenance, and compliance of technical installations in a highly regulated environment.

The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance, technical management of electrical systems, support for HVAC, and meticulous administrative records. You will liaise with clients and supervise subcontractors, with an on-call rotation for emergencies.

Qualifications

• MBO Level 4 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Installation Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience in maintenance and management of technical installations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• VCA-VOL certification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building services installations.
• Carry out technical management and maintenance activities for electrical systems.
• Support maintenance activities related to HVAC and cooling systems.
• Ensure accurate administrative documentation and maintenance records.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams regarding maintenance activities.
