Job summary

Jobtailor in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in a production environment. You will develop detailed project plans, manage budgets and monitor milestones to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in project management or mechanical engineering, has at least 2 years' PM experience, and is fluent in Dutch and English. German is a plus, and a PM certification is welcome.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in project management, (mechanical) engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in project management, preferably in a Production environment.
Mechanical technical affinity and background.
Dutch and English spoken and written.
German nice to have.
Certification in project management is a plus.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills.
Proficiency in using project management software such as MS Project or similar.
Experience with budget management.
Proactive attitude and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed project plans, including objectives, scope, timelines, milestones and resources.
Coordinate and motivate project teams to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively according to established deadlines.
Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate and manage these risks.
Establish and oversee the project budget, including monitoring expenditures and performing cost analysis to prevent budget overruns.
Ensure that all project deliverables meet established quality standards through regular quality checks and audits.
Maintain open and regular communication with all stakeholders, including providing updates and preparing status reports.
Ensure the successful completion of the project by validating final deliverables, evaluating the project process and documenting learning points for future projects.
