Job summary

Stoneridge is seeking a Product Engineer in Mechanical Engineering to support mass-produced products. You will work with Product Development and Operations to implement design changes, perform verifications, and assist production in resolving quality issues.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 5–7 years in product development, strong CAD skills (Siemens NX) and experience with DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, and 8D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of product development experience.
• Hands-on CAD experience and BOM knowledge.
• Experience with DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, and 8D.
• Strong communication in cross-functional teams and English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve existing products by applying design changes and solving issues.
• Lead investigations to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Coordinate engineering change activities across products and processes.
• Use Siemens NX, Teamcenter/Pro.File PDM to manage designs and docs.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers on DFMEAs and improvements.
• Drive tool/process improvements and expand technical knowledge.
