Job summary

ENTER specializes in high-tech mechanical projects. As a Mechanical Engineer you will design components in Siemens NX CAD/CAE, specify and verify requirements, and develop concepts balancing quality, functionality, time and costs.

You will create tolerance decompositions, document drawings, and build/test prototypes. You will collaborate with vendors and cross-disciplinary teams to turn project demands into smart, reliable designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with parametric CAD/CAE systems.
• Knowledge of design principles for precision mechanisms.
• Knowledge of machining, sheet metal and plastics manufacturing technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Designing mechanical components and units in Siemens NX CAD/CAE.
• Specifying, realising and verifying mechanical design requirements.
• Developing concepts balancing quality, functionality, time and costs (QFTC).
• Making tolerance decompositions for units.
• Documenting units and parts: drawings, instructions and requirements.
• Building and testing prototypes to prove model-based designs.
• Reviewing designs with vendors and collaborating with colleagues from other disciplines.
