Job summary

Demcon life sciences & health in Enschede develops advanced medical technologies and systems. As a Mechanical Engineer you translate scientific insights into robust, manufacturable designs and prototypes, collaborating across disciplines to deliver high-quality products.

You will work with SolidWorks, perform FEM analyses with Ansys, and participate in design reviews, ensuring reliability, cost-effectiveness and compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Experience with FEM simulation software, such as Ansys.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on mindset with designing, building and testing prototypes.
• Good command of Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical concepts and technical solutions.
• Translate requirements into concrete designs.
• Create designs in CAD and prepare technical documentation.
• Analyze system and product functionality and perform testing.
