Job summary

SUR Staffing is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, validate, and optimize advanced mechanical systems for high-tech applications in Eindhoven. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate requirements into robust, manufacturable designs and drive design decisions across the development cycle.

Key responsibilities include CAD-based design, prototyping support, analysis and simulations, and ensuring performance, quality, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in mechanical design and product development within a high-tech or industrial environment.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software such as Siemens NX, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop precision mechanical systems, modules, and components using advanced CAD tools.
• Translate functional requirements into manufacturable and reliable mechanical designs.
• Ensure designs meet performance, quality, cost, and manufacturability requirements.
• Perform technical analyses and simulations, including tolerance studies, structural calculations, thermal analysis, and dynamic assessments.
• Evaluate and optimize design performance throughout the development process.
• Support the assembly, testing, and validation of prototypes and pre-production systems.
• Analyze test results and implement design improvements to ensure product performance and reliability.
