Job summary

Scarabee Aviation Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its multidisciplinary engineering team. You will design, maintain and modify high‑quality products, collaborating closely with Electrical, Software, Product and Project Management colleagues to drive innovation and ensure global product updates.

The role emphasizes solving technical issues, contributing to new product development and working in a structured environment with CE/NEN/ISO/UL guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires at least an MBO qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Experience with SolidWorks (2D and 3D) is essential.
• Knowledge of structural calculations.
• Familiar with CE directives and legislation (NEN, ISO, UL).

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain and modify high‑quality products in SolidWorks.
• Develop new products and solve technical issues.
• Coordinate with project management and other departments.
• Monitor progress and communicate changes or deviations.
• Implement improvements to existing products.
• Apply applicable guidelines, standards and regulations.
