Job summary

The Member Company is seeking a Mechanical Designer in the Netherlands (Eindhoven) to join a multidisciplinary R&D team. You will work on precision mechanisms, drive systems, and media handling components from concept through prototype validation in an on-site capacity.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across Manufacturing, Service, Purchasing and QA to ensure designs balance quality, manufacturability, cost and schedule. Fluency in English is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience with parametric CAD/CAE; Siemens NX knowledge is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of precision engineering and mechanical design principles.

Working on topics such as precision mechanisms, media handling systems, drive systems, printheads, and ink fixation units, you will play a key role in translating requirements into innovative and reliable technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders from Manufacturing, Service, Purchasing, and Quality Assurance to define specifications and ensure designs achieve the right balance between quality, functionality, cost, and time-to-market. From concept development and detailed engineering to prototype validation, you will be involved throughout the entire product development process. The ability to translate requirements into practical and manufacturable designs. Experience working within multidisciplinary development teams. A proactive, hands-on, and goal-oriented attitude. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English. Dutch language skills are a plus. Eligibility to work in the Netherlands and to work on-site in the Venlo region.
