Job summary

Fashion for Good in Amsterdam seeks an Innovation Intern for the Innovation Platform to scout, assess and validate next-gen materials and circularity solutions. This internship focuses on diverse projects and supports due diligence across technology readiness and market potential.

The 6-month intern position offers exposure to industry research, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and opportunities to influence sustainable innovations in textiles.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical, research and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of textile manufacturing and the fashion industry.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Capacity to work in a demanding and multicultural environment.
  • A pro-active, enthusiastic, can-do attitude and comfortable dealing with uncertainty.
  • Strong G Suite knowledge and presentation skills.
  • Relevant experience in textile circularity, materials innovation, polymer science, textile engineering, chemistry or textile manufacturing (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Research & Analysis: conduct deep-dive industry research into circularity, recycling and next-generation material innovations.
  • Project Support: assist daily project management tasks across Materials Validation and synthesize learnings from meetings.
  • Tracking: monitor timelines, deadlines, and milestones for multiple projects and design engaging collaterals with relevant visuals.
