So no matter where you’re from, who you love, or what you believe in, we welcome you to be your true self at MR MARVIS. To make our employees feel marvellous, we offer pension schemes and disability insurance and give them the opportunity to invest in personal growth and development.

What you'll do
Fabric & Trim Development
  • Supplier Coordination: Request and track fabric submissions, lab dips, strike‑offs, and trim samples from global mills under the guidance of our Senior Material Specialist.
  • Color & Sample Approval: Register incoming lab dips and bulk color cuts, helping prepare them for internal review and feedback.
  • Material Archiving: Maintain our physical and digital fabric libraries so seasonal developments and technical specs are easy for Design and Product teams to find.
Quality & Testing Preparation
  • Performance Testing: Help coordinate fabric and garment testing (pilling, colorfastness, shrinkage) with third‑party labs like Citeve to ensure high standards.
  • Data & Wear Testing: Organize test results for quick comparisons and assist in running physical wear tests on new developments.
Systems & Sustainability
  • PLM System Maintenance: Keep fabric details, compositions, and supplier info structured and updated in our PLM systems.
  • Sustainability Tracking: Assist in gathering supplier certifications, fiber traceability data, and exploring ways to reuse carry‑over fabrics.
What you'll learn
  • End‑to‑end fabric and trim development from initial concept to bulk production.
  • How a premium B Corp apparel brand manages quality control and international suppliers.
  • Hands‑on experience with textile testing methodologies and PLM data systems.
What you'll bring
  • Education: Currently studying Fashion, Textile Engineering or a related field.
  • Textile Interest: A strong curiosity about fabrics, materials, garment construction, and quality.
  • Organization: Highly structured with an eye for detail and data accuracy.
  • Software & Communication: Comfortable with Excel and Gmail, with strong spoken and written English.
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with PLM systems.
  • Previous hands‑on experience with fabrics or apparel production.
What you'll get
  • A stipend of €500,- p.m. (based on full‑time internship).
  • 20 vacation days per year (10 per 6‑month internship).
  • Mobility allowance in case you live outside of Amsterdam.
  • All equipment needed to set you up success.
  • Daily free & fresh lunch served at the office.
  • 20% discount on the entire MR MARVIS collection.
  • Monthly "Wellbeing budget for Swapfiets, Treatwell, or several gyms. Want to invest your budget? You can, via Peaks!"
  • Free unlimited access to OpenUp (coaching/psychologists platform) and Meditation Moments (meditation App).
  • Personal development opportunities to help you grow and excel in your role.
  • Working in an inspiring office in the heart of Amsterdam.
  • Join a B‑corp and make a real impact.
  • Working in a fun, international team at a fast growing scale‑up.
  • Amazing team events and weekly Friday drinks with your colleague.
