Job summary

Fashion for Good is seeking an Innovation Intern to join the Decarbonisation team in Amsterdam. The internship focuses on scaling Tier 2 decarbonisation interventions, with exposure to multiple projects in a multicultural setting.

You will contribute to project management, research, and landscape updates while supporting daily team tasks and meetings. English proficiency and an active student status are required, with in‑person work in Amsterdam.

POSITION SUMMARY & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Fashion for Good seeks a steller Intern to join the Innovation Platform. You will contribute to the initiatives supporting the scale of Tier 2 interventions. This internship offers exposure to diverse projects, and will focus on supply chain. In this role, you will contribute to the Scaling – Decarbonisation team’s efforts to accelerate the implementation of transformative technologies, particularly those focused on reducing emissions and impact in Tier 2 processing.

The role will support on the following:

• Project management, stakeholder engagement and the development of tools and insights that enable innovators, manufacturers, and brands to scale decarbonisation technologies effectively.
• Conduct deep-dive industry research into tier 2 supply chain across Asia.
• Develop and update landscapes and reports with up-to-date news, insights, and emerging innovations across materials and recycling.
• Support project teams with daily project management tasks.
• Assist during meetings by synthesising learnings.
• Track timelines, deadlines, and milestones for multiple projects.
• Edit, create, and design engaging collaterals with relevant visuals.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate has a relevant track record and combines strong interpersonal skills with a self-starting, proactive attitude. Candidates with the following skillsets will be preferred:

• Good understanding of the textile manufacturing & the fashion industry

The following experience is a plus: Relevant work in textile supply chain, textile innovation, textile engineering, chemistry or textiles manufacturing.

EDUCATION

Currently enrolled in an academic degree (Bachelor (HBO), MBA or Masters), preferably in material science, chemistry or textile engineering.

LANGUAGES

Proficiency in English is a requirement.

LOCATION & VISA REQUIREMENTS

In person based in Amsterdam. Note: Only students with an existing working permit for the EU are considered eligible candidates and you must be enrolled for the duration of your studies.
