Fashion for Good is seeking an Innovation Intern to join the Decarbonisation team. The role focuses on scaling Tier 2 decarbonisation initiatives, with exposure to project management, research, and stakeholder engagement in the textile sector.
Based in Amsterdam, the internship lasts 6 months and is an Intern (Visiting Analyst) position. The ideal candidate is enrolled in an eligible degree and proficient in English, with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Fashion for Good seeks a steller Intern to join the Innovation Platform. You will contribute to the initiatives supporting the scale of Tier 2 interventions. This internship offers exposure to diverse projects, and will focus on supply chain. In this role, you will contribute to the Scaling – Decarbonisation team’s efforts to accelerate the implementation of transformative technologies, particularly those focused on reducing emissions and impact in Tier 2 processing.
The role will support on the following:
Project management, stakeholder engagement and the development of tools and insights that enable innovators, manufacturers, and brands to scale decarbonisation technologies effectively.
Conduct deep-dive industry research into tier 2 supply chain across Asia.
Develop and update landscapes and reports with up-to-date news, insights, and emerging innovations across materials and recycling.
Support project teams with daily project management tasks.
Assist during meetings by synthesising learnings.
Track timelines, deadlines, and milestones for multiple projects.
Edit, create, and design engaging collaterals with relevant visuals.
Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Good understanding of the textile manufacturing & the fashion industry
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Capacity to work in a demanding and multicultural environment
A pro-active, enthusiastic, can-do attitude and comfortable dealing with uncertainty
Strong G Suite knowledge and presentation skills
The following experience is a plus: Relevant work in textile supply chain, textile innovation, textile engineering, chemistry or textiles manufacturing.
Currently enrolled in an academic degree (Bachelor (HBO), MBA or Masters), preferably in material science, chemistry or textile engineering.
Proficiency in English is a requirement.
In person based in Amsterdam. Note: Only students with an existing working permit for the EU are considered eligible candidates and you must be enrolled for the duration of your studies.
