Job summary
Philips offers an internship in Operational Material Management in Best, Netherlands. You will join the Material Management team and collaborate with NPI, manufacturing, logistics, service and transportation to ensure smooth material inflow and support upstream processes.
You will gain hands-on experience with inventory monitoring, data analysis, and KPI reporting while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires active participation and strong Excel/ERP understanding.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor or Master in SCM or Industrial Engineering.
- Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
- Good understanding of ERP systems and material flow.
- Strong communication and proactive, collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support material inflow and inventory monitoring activities.
- Gather information on issues, identify gaps, and propose corrective actions.
- Assist with Daily Management rhythms and weekly KPI reporting.
- Analyze data and trends to improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
