Job summary

Corestaff powered by Swipejobs is seeking an experienced Material Handler for an onsite role in Holland, MI. You will read schedules, move materials, and prepare orders using warehouse software and forklift equipment.

This full-time contract position offers a 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM schedule, $25 per hour, and benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401k. A strong work history and reliable performance are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5-10 years experience preferred. Must show consistent, reliable work history.
• Effective communication, ability to read warehouse software, forklift certification, basic material prep skills, and longevity in prior roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or designated locations.
• Sort materials on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or material requests and distribute stock to production areas.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place them on pallets.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers.
• Record quantities of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weigh or count items to ensure they meet company standards.
• Use a computer to enter and maintain records.
• Drive material handling equipment to transport stored items.
• Load and unload trailers with palletized and non-palletized products.
• Utilize both manual and automated material handling equipment.
