Job summary

Leiden Bio Science Park is seeking an intern to support the Future of CGT conference focused on practical applications in cell and gene therapy. Your responsibilities include planning logistics, coordinating with speakers, drafting communications, and managing event operations.

The ideal candidate is studying Marketing or a relevant field, is organized and proactive, and is based near Leiden. This is a paid internship lasting a minimum of 5 months, providing mentorship and valuable industry experience.

Qualifications

• You are organized, proactive, and write clearly.
• Comfortable communicating with professionals and managing moving parts.
• Available to work on-site near Leiden.

Responsibilities

Join the team behind Future of CGT, the first Dutch conference focused on the practical side of building cell and gene therapy companies. This is not about long‑term hype or visionary slogans but about execution that works: regulatory timelines, non‑clinical data, smart vendor decisions, and avoiding CMC mistakes. The event takes place on May 27 & 28, 2027, and your role is to help bring it to life.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and logistics before the event
• Coordinate with speakers, exhibitors, and community partners
• Draft LinkedIn posts and email updates for the Future of CGT audience
• Help promote the event across the biotech and life sciences network
• Assist with outreach to companies, investors, and scientific leaders
• Be part of the team managing event‑day operations and follow‑up

Qualifications

• You study Marketing, Communication, Event Management, or Life Sciences
• You are organized, proactive, and write clearly
• You are comfortable communicating with professionals and managing moving parts
• You are based near Leiden and available to work on‑site
