Job summary

JPP Life Sciences Marketing & BD is offering a paid internship in marketing and business development near Leiden. You will research markets, craft outreach messages, write content for campaigns and help plan events while gaining real biotech industry experience.

Available for at least five months, you will join client meetings, develop your own skills, and take responsibility for projects with guidance from experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• You study Marketing, Communications, Commercial Economics, Business, Event Management or Life Sciences.
• You can write clearly in English.
• You work in an organised and accurate way.
• You are comfortable speaking with new people.
• You take initiative instead of waiting for every next step.
• You are interested in marketing, sales or entrepreneurship.
• You are available to work full-time and on-site in Leiden.

Join JPP Life Sciences Marketing & BD and learn how companies working on new medicines, diagnostics and healthcare technologies bring their ideas to the market. We help these companies explain what they do, reach potential clients and partners, and create opportunities for growth. As our intern, you will help us put that work into practice.

Responsibilities

• Research companies, markets and competitors

• Support the planning of webinars, events and other activities
• Prepare presentations, contact lists and campaign materials

You are available for at least five months and based in or near Leiden. You enjoy learning, take responsibility for your work and are comfortable asking questions when something is unclear. You do not need previous experience in the life sciences industry, but you should be interested in learning about it.
