Job summary

ASICS EMEA is seeking a Marketing Director, Growth Markets, based at the Hoofddorp HQ. You will lead marketing across Nordics, Benelux, Italy and Spain, spanning 10 countries, with a team of four market heads and about 50 professionals.

You will travel ~25% of the time and serve as the marketing lead for pan-EMEA strategic accounts (15% of the role), coordinating across Commercial, Merchandising, and Brand functions to drive growth and brand equity.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in marketing with multi-market impact.
• Proven experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams (40+ people).
• Full integrated marketing mix expertise — brand, trade, retail, and GTM across international markets.
• Strong commercial acumen with budget management linked to market share outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Growth Markets Strategy - translate strategies into locally relevant marketing plans across Nordics, Benelux, Italy and Spain; drive growth.
• People Leadership - lead four Marketing Leaders and a total of ~50 marketing professionals; build a high-performance team culture.
• Marketing Budget Stewardship - prioritise investment across four markets; ensure ROI aligned with strategy.
• Strategic Accounts Marketing EMEA (15%) - be the main marketing contact for pan-EMEA strategic accounts; align plans across markets.
• Cross-Functional Partnership - align Growth Markets marketing with Category, Commercial, Merchandising, and Enable Functions.
• Operating Model & Standards - simplify ways of working across 10 countries; establish shared planning and activation calendars.
• Strong Contributor to Marketing Leadership - work with Sr Director to raise marketing excellence.
