bunq is hiring a Data Scientist, Marketing to own predictive models that value newly verified users and feed results into Google Ads. The role emphasizes building, deploying, and monitoring models to optimize marketing spend.

You will work with Python, XGBoost, and Claude Code in a hybrid setup with international colleagues. The position requires delivering production-grade models, achieving performance targets, and collaborating across teams in English.

Competenze

• Experience building predictive models for marketing and user value.
• Proven ability to deploy models in production and monitor health.
• Proficient in Python and data pipelines.

Mansioni

• Own the predictive models that drive marketing spend.
• Develop and scale models predicting new users' value in 90 days.
• Meet model quality targets (Spearman ≥0.50, AUC ≥0.75) within 9 months.
• Maintain production systems and monitor data and model health.
• Validate outputs using Claude Code and other AI tools.
• Work with English-language communication and cross-functional teams.
