Job summary

Qogita is hiring a data scientist to own end-to-end data science work across its wholesale marketplace, shaping models that inform pricing, demand, and product discovery. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Commercial to deliver actionable intelligence.

You will build predictive models, run experiments, and deploy ML features with a focus on real-world impact and production readiness. Hybrid work is available in Amsterdam or London.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a data scientist, applied ML engineer, or quantitative analyst.
• Track record of owning models in production, maintaining and iterating them.
• Solid grounding in probability, supervised/unsupervised learning, and validation.
• Strong Python and SQL; comfortable with large transactional datasets and common libraries.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver data science solutions across the stack: predictive models, pricing, experimentation, and ML features.
• Own end-to-end ML systems: framing problems, design, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Translate business problems into tractable ML tasks with clear success criteria.
• Apply ML methods to pricing, demand, and marketplace problems; design experiments.
• Collaborate with engineers to ship models via reproducible MLOps workflows.
• Communicate model choices and trade-offs to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
