Job summary

EPEX SPOT in Amsterdam is seeking a Market Operations professional to support daily auctions, monitor trading platforms, and provide essential client support for over 400 members.

You will collaborate with IT, Membership, and Sales, participate in agile Scrum teams, and contribute to reliable, compliant market operations across Europe. This role blends operations with continuous improvement and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, computer science, or a related energy field.
• Affinity or strong interest in energy, exchanges, markets, or the energy transition.
• At least 1 year of experience in an operational team or a comparable job.

Responsibilities

• Run auction markets to ensure daily trade execution and publication of price references for over 20 daily auctions.
• Coordinate with IT, Membership, and Sales/Communication to improve production coordination and processes.
• Participate in agile Scrum teams for system releases and contribute to new services and products.
