Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Market Access Manager in the Netherlands to develop and execute market access strategies that enable reimbursement and adoption of our products. You will work with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Finance and Global Market Access, and build relationships with payers, providers, policy makers and patient groups.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Health Policy, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Market Access, Health Economics, Government Affairs, Healthcare Consulting, MedTech, Pharma or related healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated experience with reimbursement processes and payer engagement.
• Strong understanding of healthcare policy, pricing and market access.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute market access strategies that support reimbursement, funding and adoption of products within the Dutch system.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Finance and Global Market Access.
• Build relationships with payers, healthcare providers, policy makers, professional associations and patient organizations.
• Monitor policy developments, identify opportunities/risks, and translate data into value propositions.
