Job summary

Abbott Diabetes Care seeks a Market Access Manager to lead reimbursement strategies in the Dutch healthcare system. You will develop and execute plans to ensure patient access to Abbott technologies, collaborating with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Finance and Global Market Access teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Health Policy, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Market Access, Health Economics, Government Affairs, Healthcare Consulting, MedTech, Pharma or related healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated experience with reimbursement processes and payer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute market access strategies to support reimbursement, funding and adoption of Abbott products in the Dutch system.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Finance and Global Market Access; engage payers, providers, policy makers and patient orgs.
• Monitor policy developments, identify opportunities and risks, translate clinical and economic data into value propositions to support growth and patient outcomes.
