Job summary

Van Oord in Rotterdam is looking for a Crewing Support Officer to ensure our ships have the right crew at the right time. You support the Crewing Officers in daily planning and act as a key contact for crew, Ship Management and Fleet Management.

You handle crew changes, arrange travel, accommodation and documentation, and keep data up-to-date in our systems. You will travel to ships and work in an international team.

Qualifications

• Minimum MBO working and thinking level.
• Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience in a similar position, preferably in a project-based or dynamic environment.
• Residence near Rotterdam.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Affinity with the maritime sector is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a smooth transition during crew changes, from travel and accommodation to administration.
• Accessible and reliable point of contact for international crew and stakeholders.
• Ensures correct and up-to-date information in our systems, so that colleagues can rely on the available data.
• Switches quickly in unexpected situations and knows how to set the right priorities.
• Contributes to a professional and service-oriented Crewing Team.
• Maintains contact with the fleet and visits ships at home and abroad several times a year
