Job summary

Acta Marine is seeking a Crewing Coordinator for our Rotterdam office. You will oversee daily crewing operations, including crew rotations and changes, ensuring lawful staffing of vessels in a fast-paced offshore environment.

You will monitor training requirements, maintain crew records, and liaise with seafarers, vessel management, and agencies. The role supports budget control and compliance under the Crewing Manager and Senior Crewing Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in crewing coordination or maritime personnel management.
• Strong knowledge of STCW, MLC, ISM Code, and Flag State requirements.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Based in the Rotterdam area.
• Experience with crewing management systems (Adonis or Radiant Fleet).

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate crew rotations with vessel schedules.
• Arrange crew changes and replacements in coordination with senior staff.
• Coordinate travel, visas, flights, and hotel for joining/signing-off crew.
• Verify crew certificates and qualifications to ensure compliance.
• Maintain crew records in HR systems and crewing software.
• Serve as primary contact between vessels, agencies, seafarers, and superintendents.
• Represent the company at maritime school open days.
• Prepare annual training schedules for safety and compliance courses.
