Job summary

NTS Hengelo is looking for a Manufacturing Technician who sits close to the shop floor and ensures production runs smoothly and stably. You will analyze problems, collaborate with colleagues, and provide practical solutions.

You also join the Product Management Team to improve products and processes, translate recurring issues into structural improvements, and drive method improvements while coordinating between production and support departments.

Qualifications

• HBO level of education (Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar).
• Experience in a high-tech production environment (assembly or machining).
• Knowledge of SPC, CPK, PFMEA and root cause analyses.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and process optimization.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to bridge between production and support departments.
• Ownership, decisiveness, and a drive for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Resolving daily and ad-hoc technical problems during production.
• Analyzing process disruptions and determining effective solutions with production.
• Identifying recurring problems and translating them into structural improvements.
• Active participation in the Product Management Team and contributing to product strategy with technical expertise.
• Improving production methods to enhance quality, efficiency, manufacturability, and stability.
• Guiding production through changes, new methods, and product launches.
